Your Company OS is the foundation of your Lavalier workspace. It defines your organization’s interview stages, hiring rubric, and core information that Recruiters and Interviewers will use throughout the hiring process. This article walks you through how to set up your Company OS for the first time.

Instructions to set up your Company OS
Follow the steps below to configure your Company OS and tailor Lavalier to your organization’s process.
Step 1: Log in and access the Company OS setup
Log in to Lavalier at https://app.lavalier.ai/ using the email and password provided by the Lavalier team.
When you log in for the first time, Lavalier will take you directly to the Company OS setup page.
Search for your company name in the search bar.
If your company appears, select it and Lavalier will pre-populate your Company OS with publicly available information.
If it does not appear, click Enter Manually to add your company details.
Step 2: Review and customize each section
Your Company OS contains several sections that define how interviews and hiring decisions are structured. Review and update each one to match your internal process.

Special Sauce
Benefits & Perks
Interview Stages
Hiring Rubrics
Click Edit on any section to open it and make changes.
You can update:
Text and descriptions
Interview stage names
Stage order and duration
Hiring rubric labels (for example: Strong Hire, Hire, No Hire, Strong No Hire)
Note: The interview stages and hiring rubric you set here will be used across all roles created in Lavalier. |
Step 3: Save your Company OS
After reviewing and adjusting each section, click Save.
Your Company OS is now active and will automatically apply to all roles created by your team.
Once saved, you can begin inviting additional users to your Lavalier workspace.
| Tip: You can return to the Company OS any time through Account & Settings if your interview stages or hiring rubric change. |
